Hello Family and Friends,
It has been awhile but here we go on an update for Elder Fausett.... I am doing well I am in a town called Terre Haute..It is where the Indiana Hoosiers got there name...It has been hot and very humid and I think I have adjusted to the best that you can anyway... This is my 2nd transfer being here in Terre Haute and I am liking this area it has had it's up's and down's but it has been good for me...I have been called to be a District Leader then I was taken out of it for awhile it was a little over whelming but I am ready to be back in as the DL... I loved it it has brought me great joy and happiness and I have received blessings beyond comprehension...I am so grateful to be doing this work it is a wonderful mission and I wouldn't be who I am today without having had this chance...Thank you to all of my family whom is making this possible and for sacrificing so much for me as well to make this possible for me...I am well and well let's be honest I have 9 more months to go wow can you believe it it's crazy how time flies and it has flown for me...Well take care and much love to all of you....Godspeed and talk soon again..
Love

Hello Family,
I am doing well and all is going good for me here in Good ole Indiana..I have been recently transferred and this came as a shock to me along with the fact that I was made a district leader.. So I am definitely out of my comfort zone but I welcome the challenge it will bring in to my life and as a missionary.

This is going to definetely stretch me to my limits. Ill tell you, i
was not expecting it, it was a shock for sure. This morning i have
thought a lot about it and i have mixed feelings on it, both fear and
excitment. As every change in life that we experience we will always
fear then when we get our feet wet it becomes who we are. I know that
this was inspired cause i have been praying for expiriences to come my
way for me to learn and grow more as a missionary.
I am now in the city of Huntington Indiana it is near Fort Wayne. This is a beautiful city lot's of architect and landmarks that I am hoping to see and take pictures of as well..I was transferred from Bedford last week and that was a fun town kind of felt like it was in the middle of nowhere at times but it was fun.I ran into an old friend who we used to be in the same ward as I and he is going to school down at the University of Indiana so that was fun to say hey and see him...My companion now is Elder Mitchell he and I went to school together so this is not new to me I had another companion that was from Spanish Fork as well that I went to school with so it's been fun.....I am grateful to be able to be serving in this mission I have had so much experiences that I don't know how to explain all of it other than I am growing and learning EVERYDAY!! I mean everyday.. I am so happy to be on my mission and how the Lord blesses us when we do what we are supposed to be doing...
I have been out for 10.5 months now. I know I can't believe it it is craziness and madness... I am coming up on my year of being out next month..It has flown by for me...
well till next time take care and love ya much and have a good week!!
Love ya much
Love,
Elder Fausett

Hello,
I actually stayed in Frankfort, Indiana it is the first time I did not get transferred since being here so it has been good though it will give myself and Elder Allred (companion) the chance to see David one of the guys we committed to baptism. However that being said neither of us will baptize him because the Branch Pres. here taught David in high school and so he wanted him to do that baptism but it's cool we get to be here and watch this happen for David he is such a stud!!.
We met a new guy named Eric and went in and shared our message with him. While doing so he asked his little 4 year old boy to go get some water in a bottle for his baby, the bottle had a bit of formula in it and this boy walked past me, and i was sitting on the floor cause this guy had no chairs, and he dumps this formula on me. I was like WHHAATTT?!?!?! I just laughed and shrugged it off, thats what makes good memories is when you dont make a big deal about something funny like that! It was a sweet experience!
I got invited last week to go back to Indy 2 to see the McClinticks get baptized. Elder Thomas and I in Indy 2 found this family and they invited me to come back and to witness it. They asked if i would give a brief talk on baptism and i did. It went so well and it was awesome to see someone that i found be baptized! Elder Allred and I are doing great! We have our times but we get over them quickly. Were enjoying working together alot!
The weather has been chilly, raining and wet the last few days, so ive gotten good use outta my jacket and its holding up very well. Today is sunny and on the cooler side. We have been experiencing some nice, nice weather here. We are being blessed so much with it! I am so excited for the winter. You know me i love the elements and i have learned to love them more while i ahve been out here cause were in it all day long! Cant wait to get back home and go hiking or riding bikes in the rain again or go shoveling the foot and a half of snow! Im pumped for the day.
So for those of you who don't know Indianans have some sayings out here that are just funny so I have heard some good ones like
I hear the phrase "wicked awesome" at least once a day if not more! There are a lot of other phrases that Indianans say that are funny like, "sweeper" that's a vacuum, "a couple three" and that's just a few. It's all good I may yes bring some of that slang back with me ya never know.. We have a huge zone conference tomorrow for the whole mission. Its for training on the mormon.org media blitz that is going to be happening here in Indiana. There going to be have commercials, billboards, signs on buses and taxis and more. It going to blow Indiana up we are hoping, so i am looking forward to that! Also, I am looking forward to General Conference so much. I hear its like the super bowl for missionaries. Im pumped! David, our investigator, is going to be making his famous sweet chil
i for the priesthood session. David is SOLIDDD!!!!!!
Well I think that is it for today! Have a good week and well be talking soon. Love ya!
Ya'll come back now ya hear? -Bro. Brackett (ward mission leader, hes so awesome)
Love you and miss you so much! :) -Elder Fausett

Hello,
Well another week has gone by and I am feeling pretty good.. The last 2 weeks have been going good for my companion and I. We are finding so many people. The elders that were here before us were kind of lazy and didn't do a lot of work in fact they were thinking of closing Frankfort area down and I told them no ya aren't going to do that, and lo and behold we have committed two people to baptism it's so exciting. We have finally moved in to our new apartment and feel like I can actually focus more now. so that has been a good thing. This last week it got a little chilly and this week it will be a little hotter then next week it is supposed to be in to 50's so I hear.. I enjoy it though nice change. My home sickness is not affecting me anymore honestly I am getting used to being on my own now. I don't want to come home JK JK!! I love going to bed knowing I am in the right place right now and I love to see the people change as we are teaching them over a period of time. It's an addiction I have I love it!!!
Please tell everyone hello for me and that I love you all and until we meet again.. Take care
